Symptoms

• Wrinkling
• Going limp
• Turning crispy and yellow or brown
• Shedding lots of dry leaves
  

Solutions

• Drench thoroughly; do not use a spray bottle
• Increase water frequency, but still only water when top soil is dry
• Water during a cool part of the day, early morning or evening
• Protect from direct sun, particularly when temperatures exceed 80F
• Remove leaves that are already dry and crispy
• Add a light-colored gravel top dressing
